In 1947 Lyte Ladders became the first company in the United Kingdom to manufacture aluminium ladders and steps. The name Lyte Ladders & Towers is now synonymous with well designed and quality products which are used in more than 90 countries around the world. Specialising in heavy duty products, Lyte Access Equipment is supplied to many Fire Brigades throughout the UK & Ireland as well as overseas.
The Lyte range of Fire Ladders covers the full spectrum requires by the British Fire Service. The range consists of doubles, triples, push up and rope operated extension ladders, as well as both folding and non-folding Roof Ladders. All Fire Ladders are made to the highest specification, using the very best materials and components. Where no JCDD specification is applicable, ladders are made to the same exacting standards as our Industrial Range, conforming to BS2037 Class 1.
