Showcasing Innovation in Access Solutions

The Executive Hire Show 2025 was another fantastic event for Lyte Ladders & Towers and LFI . We were thrilled to connect with so many industry professionals, showcase our newest Bespoke Access Solutions, and offer a sneak peek at some exciting upcoming product launches.

Bespoke Access Solutions Launched at the Show

As a UK manufacturer with decades of experience, Lyte and LFI understand that standard access equipment doesn’t always fit every job. That’s why we focus on creating bespoke solutions that help our customers to resolve their unique access challenges.

Here’s what we unveiled at the show:

"Double Decker" Platform Step – A two-level platform step designed to give extra height without compromising stability, making it ideal for tasks where a little more reach is needed. (And yes, that’s why there was a Double Decker chocolate bar in the goody bags!)

Glassfibre Cubicle Platform – A unique solution designed for working above toilet cubicles in portable buildings, perfect for installing electrics, ventilation, or plumbing in tight spaces. Our toilet cubicle demo certainly got people talking!

Glassfibre Platform with Compression Castors – A non-conductive, highly manoeuvrable work platform with 360-degree access, allowing for easy movement between tasks while maintaining stability.

These solutions are already generating huge interest in the Hire sector, and we look forward to seeing them in fleets across the UK.

July 21, 2025
When the bell rings for the last time in July, it signals more than the start of summer holidays. For facilities managers across schools, colleges, and universities, it marks the start of a critical maintenance window. With corridors clear, classrooms empty, and fewer safeguarding restrictions in place, the summer break is the ideal time to tackle planned maintenance and health & safety improvements. From electrical inspections to ceiling repairs and painting projects, much of the work that keeps educational buildings safe, functional, and compliant happens while pupils and staff are away. At Lyte, we understand the demands of this compressed maintenance period, and our British-made access equipment is trusted by facilities teams across the UK education sector to get the job done safely and efficiently. Common Tasks During the Summer Break Facilities and estates teams often use the holidays to: Carry out electrical testing and lighting upgrades Clean or repair HVAC systems in ceiling voids Paint and redecorate classrooms and corridors Service fire alarms, CCTV, and security systems Install new whiteboards, projectors, and cabling Inspect and repair roof areas, guttering, and external cladding Whether it’s reactive work or part of an annual PPM schedule, reliable access equipment is essential.
